Autoclav1.1: Love No Longer Lives Here [TA012]

Mainly known for his promotional work within the electronic music scene, Tony Young aka: Autoclav1.1 turned his hand to writing music late 2004. Since then he has had numerous successes including two EP's, two albums `You are my all and more` [Crunchpod] and `Visitor Attractions' [Crunchpod], and more recently a remix album `Broken Beats for Broken Hearts` [Hive], all of which have cemented Autoclav1.1 as one of the more prolific artists on the scene.

Fusing huge orchestral compositions and IDM with flashes of Industrial and modern Electronica, Autoclav1.1 is quickly gaining a reputation for pulling on the deepest of human emotions with a variety of melodies and real-time instrumentation frequently torn apart by paranoid beatwork and broken rhythmical structures.

On `Love no Longer Lives Here', his third and latest studio album and first for rising US label Tympanik Audio, Young changes the goal posts once more and treads some new waters without forgetting his roots. More emphasis has been placed on heart rendering piano sections and soul capturing melodies. The introduction of more organic instruments are thrown into the mix with a splash of guitars and affectionate nods to other musical genres which add a new dimension altogether, displaying a maturity and growth that we have come to expect with each Autoclav1.1 release.

The album includes guest appearances from Jamie of ESA (Electronic Substance Abuse) and Dave from Cradle of Filth, and highlights Autoclav1.1's diversity and willingness to work within different musical scopes. `Love no Longer Lives Here` is a dark and brooding creature, overshadowed by moments of hope, that studies the modern human condition; a concept album that exposes the very essence of existence as it is today.

Ben Hudson aka EBOLA, founding member of the Brighton-based Wrong Music crew offers the first EP in Spectraliquid's Mutant Dubstep series. Ebola has performed his explosive dancefloor set alongside the likes of Venetian Snares, The Bug, Scorn and many more. Releasing on labels like Mutant Sniper, Sublight, Noize:tek and Wrong Music his "broken" musical style is varied, with definite grime, dubstep, gabba and breakcore influences...
Today, Spectraliquid is proud to announce the release of this EP by Ebola, consisting of 2 unreleased tracks + 2 remixes by some notorious artists... END.USER delivers an ultra-hard and brutal version of the original track while SHITMAT gives it a totally crazy aspect in his own unique style! This is the first EP out of 4 in total of the "MUTANT DUBSTEP" series.

This is what these well-known gentlemen had to say about the release:

"Super evolving tech-noir hydraulic-step that pushes two metal fingers into the bloody eye sockets of Skream. The two winners here being lead track Painkillers, and Shitmat's hyper focused screw-influenced take of Teledildonics. Music to both aspire and perspire to."
- King Cannibal/ZILLA (Ninja Tune/Warp/Rag and Bone)

"Ebola just managed to damage my ears even more with this awesome 4-tracker EP...time to buy some new speakers i think!"
- Bong Ra (Kriss)

"Really loving the Mutant Dubstep vol. 1 record! It's refreshing to hear music that is for the dancefloor... but still pays attention to structure. It moves!!! 'Painkillers' definitely leads the pack... but the whole release is fire. You guys smashed it."
- Starkey (Werk/Slit Jockey/Trouble & Bass)

"Exactly the kind of stuff we need these days, breakcore is stale, dubstep is going slowly up its own bum. Nice to hear some good honest BASS stinkers. They should light up the dancefloor, get people waving their crunk cups and gripping their balls gangster style (if they have balls that is)."
- Bruce Stallion (Proboscus/TigerBass)

Get ready for some hot shit!

Greetings,

we are proud to announce our second release, the debut album of BLACKFILM! ( www.myspace.com/blackfilmmusic )

BLACKFILM (HU) - "Blackfilm" CD
AVAILABLE NOW from Spectraliquid!

Hiding his face as well as his real name, even more interesting questions arise when somebody attempts to get into Blackfilm's complicated music structures. Starting off in a somewhat soundtrack perspective, Blackfilm slowly builds up an incredibly dark environment, in which fearsome ambiences co-exist with film-noir references. Evolving from downtempo electronic music to orchestral paroxysms and, insanely, passing from down-pitched nothingness to frozen urban landscapes, it becomes inevitable to resist. Let yourself sink in the abyss...This second release, carrying the same title with the composer's name, is the very first full-length album of this incredibly talented artist who experts in combining modern day electronic music with classical music references, while remaining absolutely original.

Highly recommended for those who enjoy acts such as Amon Tobin, Portishead, FSOL as well as intelligent dark electronic music.

Hi.

I am interested in finding out more about various industrial scenes.

I can't say I'm into a lot of it yet, but I really like a couple of songs I heard - but don't have the faintest idea who made them.

One of them is:

http://home.comcast.net/~n.sexton/songone.html

I think the vocalist from Laibach sounds a lot like that vocalist, but I can't really place the style as super similar. But I do like Laibach.

Another is:

http://home.comcast.net/~n.sexton/songtwo.html

I have NO idea who this is.

I don't know which sub-genre to post in, since I don't really know what these are called.

Also, where's a good place to check out and LISTEN to some of this stuff?

Thanks a lot!

Hey everyone. I've had this idea to do my own thing with music, such as a band, an I want to specialize in the Industrial field. But I'm kind of unsure of what equipment I should get, because I plan on going all the way with this band, including live performances. The only things I have set and ready to go is my Black Macbook, and the godly box set that is Logic Studio(You can mix, edit, produce, pretty much anything with this software). But what I need is suggestions for equipment such as synthesizers, electronic drum sets, etc. I will provide links to videos on youtube of the certain sound I am looking to achieve. Thanks!

- Totakeke: eLekatota - The Other Side of the Tracks CD [TA003]

The brilliant new album from New York producer, Frank Mokros (Synth-etik / Hands Productions) featuring 13 stunning tracks of complex rhythmic Industrial. With previous remix collaborations flanking the likes of Terrorfakt, Imminent, Radial, and Klangstabil, 2 successful releases for Frozen Empire Media, and a radiant new track on the recent Tympanik Audio compilation ‘Emerging Organisms’, Totakeke is back with his 2nd full-length album that proves to be his finest work yet. From start to finish, ‘eLekatota’ manages to effortlessly merge several genres of electronic music into one seamless body of work, without distorting the mood or veracity of the album as a whole. Each track feels alive, constantly morphing and shifting into new directions without the slightest loss of cohesiveness. A masterful collage of addictive rhythms, richly-layered beats, intriguing samples, and cavernous atmospherics, that all seem to somehow replenish themselves with each listen. ‘eLekatota: The Other Side of the Tracks’ is timeless opus that is sure to be hailed as one of the finest Industrial productions in years.
Hello everyone! I guess I’m supposed to tell you about me… or “US!”

My name is Bob Donovan, Publisher of the quickly growing online magazine known as Carpe Nocturne. Now read in 23 countries we have been called “The Voice of the New Dark Culture” as we cover and truly support the Goth / Industrial / EBM / Darkwave / Synth-Pop and related music scenes and cultures.

Carpe Nocturne is a FREE monthly publication. We have sponsored many shows with some of the most popular bands on the scene today. Carpe Nocturne is also an Official Sponsor of The Eccentrik Festival (NC) and The DarkStar Festival (CT) and a strong supporter of The BlackSun Festival (CT).

We are an all volunteer run publication that takes very little and usually NO advertising as we only support those who support the scene and NOT those who “SAY” they do only to leach from it! So, if that means we have no advertising income and I pay for it all myself, so be it! We are here to support, not take from or commercialize this truly individualist, diverse and underground culture.

We are based in New England but we have volunteer staff in many states and 9 countries around the world. We do our best to cover and review bands, DJs and events the world over.

So, that’s about it…. Drop by sometime if you’d like! http://www.carpenocturne.com.
PS: I may post from time to time to announce a new issue or a special event. This IS NOT Spam! It is support for this scene and culture. If it offends anyone I apologize in advance and it will stop.
